Asaad Asaad Al-Shirtaa, a spokesman for the House of Representatives meeting in Tripoli, said that the Tripoli Parliament has specified in its statement that it does not reject any dialogue provided it is under the umbrella of the United Nations, and on the condition that the dialogue is represented by all Libyan parties and that Haftar is not a party to this dialogue, It addresses a just and comprehensive solution to the entire Libyan crisis.
Al-Shartaa said in his intervention on the Tanasuh channel, which was followed by “Og,” that the dialogue should not be like what is happening in Bouznika, and talk about the sovereign positions as if the problems of Libya are solved and our situation is good and stable, and our only problem is in the sovereign positions, and this is completely unacceptable.
He added, “But if dialogue includes a fair and comprehensive solution to every crisis in Libya and represents all parties, and will ultimately lead to either a referendum or holding elections, then it is welcome, but dialogue in this way is from people who are not authorized to dialogue.”
Al-Shartaa continued: “The President of the State Council is dissolved by political agreement, which says in the articles related to the Council that it is an advisory body, so the dialogue must be represented in the first place by the House of Representatives so that its outputs are in the form of laws that the parties are bound by as happened in the political agreement, and the State Council He violated these articles and exceeded his advisory powers to other powers that may amount to the current or upcoming legislative period.
He continued: “Most countries no longer receive Aqila Saleh as the speaker of the House of Representatives. Algeria, for example, received Aqila Saleh as a political party, and according to protocol and protocol, she did not place the Libyan state’s emblem, the state’s flag, which means that she received him as a political party while Hammouda Siyala received between the president The State Council and the President of the Presidential Council as Speaker of the House of Representatives. ”
And Al-Shartaa added: “Khaled al-Mashri is trying to legitimize Aqila Saleh even though he lacks her legally, politically and logically, and the political agreement when he talks about the sovereign positions and other measures that need consultation, says that he is between the House of Representatives and the state, and does not say between the presidency of the Council Representatives, if we accept the argument that Aqila Saleh is the speaker of the House of Representatives, and this is a far cry from the matter, it is not his authority to engage in this dialogue alone, why then talk about 15 deputies representing 13 electoral districts in order to fully represent the parliament?
Al-Shartaa concluded: “I cannot understand or visualize any logic that makes Aqila Saleh a party to the dialogue and he lacks all the elements of dialogue, especially as it proves that he is the new face of Haftar, and Khaled al-Mishri says that there is no dialogue with the war criminal Haftar, so does Khaled al-Mishri and others who are involved are believed In this dialogue, that Aqeelah Saleh went to this dialogue despite Haftar ?, this is an unimaginable truth
